Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Paulo Seco took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Seco came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Flatline Zombies's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Armağan Mukremin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armağan Mukremin came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 10th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armağan Mukremin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 22 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Armağan Mukremin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. 28 minutes into the match, Paulo Seco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulo Seco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Seco's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. The audience was convinced that Paulo Seco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Uriel Imbach hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Seco in the 46th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Seco came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armağan Mukremin having to interfere. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armağan Mukremin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liborius Müller in the 62nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Seco in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Levent Erkinay in the 66th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Liborius Müller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armağan Mukremin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 70th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Seco came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, Liborius Müller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 74 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armağan Mukremin was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 78th minute, Antonio Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Seco in the 79th minute of the match. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Flatline Zombies's Uriel Imbach got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Flatline Zombies's Armağan Mukremin got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Flatline Zombies's goalkeeper Armağan Mukremin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Flatline Zombies throughout the match.
