Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Remigio Orlondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 4 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. In the 7th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Remigio Orlondo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 11th minute of play forced FC BerserkerS's goalkeeper Remigio Orlondo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tibor Lázár in the 17th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, FC BerserkerS's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Remigio Orlondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renaud Specht. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC BerserkerS's goalkeeper Remigio Orlondo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Remigio Orlondo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. After 22 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Juan Sebastián Puig. In the 26th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Remigio Orlondo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 31 minutes into the match, Renaud Specht notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Remigio Orlondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 37th minute of play. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Remigio Orlondo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After the first half Ecuador were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tibor Lázár to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tibor Lázár in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Remigio Orlondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 53rd minute of play. Neycho Bidzhev hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. FC BerserkerS's Remigio Orlondo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 57th minute of play. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC BerserkerS's Valeri Hrisimov was substituted for Neycho Bidzhev. With a little luck, FC BerserkerS's Remigio Orlondo got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valeri Hrisimov in the 66th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute FC BerserkerS were awarded a corner. Marian Minkovski went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led FC BerserkerS's Tibor Lázár to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Remigio Orlondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 71st minute, Cristian Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Tibor Lázár came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valeri Hrisimov in the 79th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC BerserkerS's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remigio Orlondo came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Remigio Orlondo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Remigio Orlondo in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marian Minkovski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Vera. Ecuador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Renaud Specht might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Renaud Specht ran back to his position shaking his head. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Montenegro during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Felix Montenegro hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute of the match Radan Dzhunov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera skillfully saved the ball. In the 94th match minute, FC BerserkerS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Volodya Zdravchev to maneuver through the defense.
