Benigno Claus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Brandt having to interfere. Szilveszter Szegh hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Filiberto Indartsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 25 minutes into the match, Alianza Trujillo's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Oskarbi came free, but Tomas Brandt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Didi Papardelas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cayetano Montez in the 31st minute of play. Didi Papardelas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Montez in the 36th minute of the match. In the 39th minute Eugenio Bernal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Brandt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Piquirenda FC's Severiano Ibañez got a free kick in the 47th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eugenio Bernal made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filiberto Indartsu in the 52nd minute of play forced Alianza Trujillo's goalkeeper Tomas Brandt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute of the match Piquirenda FC got a corner. Alianza Trujillo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roberto Iratze ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alianza Trujillo's Tomas Brandt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Bernal in the 57th minute of play. Szilveszter Szegh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Alianza Trujillo's goalkeeper Tomas Brandt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, Alianza Trujillo's Szilveszter Szegh sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Didi Papardelas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Eugenio Bernal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Piquirenda FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Tomas Brandt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Lluciano in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Ramon Martino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Didi Papardelas was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Tomas Brandt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Lluciano in the 88th minute of the match. Piquirenda FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Roberto Iratze in the 89th minute. A nice corner shot did that Roberto Iratze got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tomas Brandt quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 96th minute Roberto Iratze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Brandt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
