Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Berganza took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd minute, Fabio Savona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes into the match, Eleven Young Elephants's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Aaron Tanti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aaron Tanti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 22nd minute, António Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aaron Tanti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 24th minute of the match. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Aaron Tanti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enzo Perez hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Tomas Berganza might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aaron Tanti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Berganza ran back to his position shaking his head. Aaron Tanti came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Panama's Tomas Berganza. But to his dismay, Tomas Berganza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 33 minutes into the match, Severino Bueno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severino Bueno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Aaron Tanti didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abraham Alguacil went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 39th match minute, Eleven Young Elephants was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Perez to maneuver through the defense. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 44 played minutes Severino Bueno rounded Panama's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severino Bueno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isidoro Sarmiento during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 51 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Sarmiento. In the 52nd minute of the match Fabio Savona shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Cotilla showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fabio Savona struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Marcos Cotilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eleven Young Elephants. Aaron Tanti made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Tomas Berganza sent off a good shot on target. After 64 minutes, Severino Bueno made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Panama's Marcos Cotilla tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 67th minute, Severino Bueno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Cotilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Aaron Tanti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, Eleven Young Elephants was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Qu Peng Kang to maneuver through the defense. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Bueno, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Vilmos Szikora charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vilmos Szikora the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 84th minute, one of Eleven Young Elephants:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Eleven Young Elephants. Aaron Tanti had in the 86thth minute some difficulties stopping Abraham Alguacil's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Bueno in the 89th minute of play. Qu Peng Kang kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The supporters of Panama booed when Eleven Young Elephants was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. António Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eleven Young Elephants's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
