In the 20thth minute of the game Margiris Nekrošius who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Damaso Alonso was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 25th minute Gaston Zárate shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Zárate in the 26th minute of play. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miroslaw Gollob. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damaso Alonso in the 32nd minute. 32 minutes into the match, Damaso Alonso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares, 2-0. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Margiris Nekrošius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurand Cempa in the 65th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miroslaw Gollob made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Axel Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. Orlando Tafalla came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Miroslaw Gollob could save by the left post. Samuel Navarro hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Zacisze Częstochowa made a substitution. Przemyslaw Maldini replaced Gonzalo Firme. The supporters of Zacisze Częstochowa booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Margiris Nekrošius in the 74th minute of play. Abram Secada who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Miroslaw Gollob when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Zacisze Częstochowa's Miroslaw Gollob proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Zacisze Częstochowa from getting a goal against them. Zacisze Częstochowa's Miroslaw Gollob played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 79th minute of play. If Jurand Cempa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Miroslaw Gollob made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Abram Secada sent off a good shot on target. In the 92nd minute, Axel Coomans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zacisze Częstochowa's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
