The supporters of FC Smolenice booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Villa didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Smolenice's Michal Pachl got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 14th minute of the match Róbert Ujlacký sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Camilo Freixa skillfully saved the ball. Jorge Lixandro kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Alfredo Ferrant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matej Bohuš having to interfere. Camilo Freixa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iván Sotomayor's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. The supporters of FC Smolenice booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso de la Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute, Henrich Jánošík made a precise shot to the right of Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Camilo Freixa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iván Sotomayor's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iván Sotomayor in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to FC Smolenice getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Jorge Lixandro hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bolivia's zone, Michal Pachl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Freixa came out of the goal and Michal Pachl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 39 minutes into the game, Iván Sotomayor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Camilo Freixa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The FC Smolenice fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when FC Smolenice's Iván Sotomayor looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 47th minute, Iván Sotomayor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mario Fernandino made a kick off. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Mario Fernandino hit a great ball. A hard shot by Jorge Lixandro from long distance, 51 minutes into the match, got Camilo Freixa's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrich Jánošík, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Michal Pachl took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Camilo Freixa to make any attempt to save it. With his leg Camilo Freixa managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when FC Smolenice's Iván Sotomayor fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpected shot in the 66th minute by Róbert Ujlacký got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Henrich Jánošík kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Camilo Freixa. That made the score 0-5 in the 68 minute of play. In the 71st minute, Róbert Ujlacký got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 72nd minute, FC Smolenice's Iván Sotomayor dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michal Pachl in the 76th minute of the match. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michal Pachl, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iván Sotomayor. In the 83rd minute, Julio Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Smolenice's Jonas Ekelund shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 84th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Camilo Freixa but with some difficulty. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Bolivia from getting a goal against them. Iván Sotomayor scored 0-7 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camilo Freixa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Iván Sotomayor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Camilo Freixa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded FC Smolenice left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bolivia.
