Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Augustinas Gavorskis started the match with the kick off. Robert Abbondanzieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Prats in the 6th minute of the match. Joaquin Prats was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augustinas Gavorskis's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augustinas Gavorskis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Sazon hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. When Milagros Fraga came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milagros Fraga couldn't finish the play. At last the ball reached Armando Roldanillo at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Peru. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augustinas Gavorskis got free with Rolando Noboa in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Augustinas Gavorskis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Abbondanzieri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Luz Tejedor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robert Abbondanzieri was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. Robert Abbondanzieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 51st minute of the match. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustinas Gavorskis in the 53rd minute of play. If Augustinas Gavorskis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 56 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Augustinas Gavorskis came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Peru's Anthony Alvarado got a free kick in the 59th minute. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Sazon, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Eliseo Mina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Mina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robert Abbondanzieri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Deportivo Medievales's Augustinas Gavorskis in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Peru's goalie prevented a goal. A well-hit corner resulted in Eriberto Dalmai heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Murillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robert Abbondanzieri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 81 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Augustinas Gavorskis came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd match minute, Deportivo Medievales was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nino Manfredi to maneuver through the defense. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. 84 minutes into the match, Peru's Rafael Gallo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robert Abbondanzieri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Robert Abbondanzieri was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Rafael Gallo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rafael Gallo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Rafael Gallo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Robert Abbondanzieri. That made the score 1-3 in the 92 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Peru left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Deportivo Medievales.
