Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Herbert Arbaszewski in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Polan Września's Ksawery Sawicki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Barnaba Wydrych read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Rafal Kaczanka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 26th minute of play forced Polan Września's goalkeeper Barnaba Wydrych to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Ksawery Sawicki got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 3-0. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Polan Września's goalie prevented a goal. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rigoberto Mina hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafal Kaczanka got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 38 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafal Kaczanka. In the 40th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ksawery Sawicki, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Patricio Costa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Barnaba Wydrych having to make a save. In the 46th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rafal Kaczanka was the one to do the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iwo Moczkiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The supporters of Polan Września booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venezuela's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Illescas in the 58th minute. Tomas Illescas made a great header on Venezuela's corner, it was just that Polan Września's Barnaba Wydrych managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 61st minute, Patricio Costa fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Barnaba Wydrych, passed just outside the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafal Kaczanka in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Herbert Arbaszewski's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herbert Arbaszewski helped the player get up and apologised. After 67 played minutes Polan Września got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Arbaszewski. 68 minutes into the match, Polan Września's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Barnaba Wydrych reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barnaba Wydrych made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after Polan Września's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. After taking down the ball on Venezuela's corner Salvador Gisbert fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Barnaba Wydrych quite easily take care of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ksawery Sawicki went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafal Kaczanka in the 78th minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Rafal Kaczanka got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Polan Września made a substitution. Zenon Niziolek replaced Iwo Moczkiewicz. In the 86th minute, Rafal Kaczanka made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafal Kaczanka in the 95th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Polan Września were the better team. Polan Września's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
