After 2 minutes, Jose Correa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Soczewki Gliwice players grew even worse after the yellow card. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Matela in the 12th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Soczewki Gliwice's Tomasz Sobania slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomasz Sobania got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Tomasz Sobania took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. Kayhan Canfeda hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damazy Kensicki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Tomasz Sobania sent off a good shot on target. One of Venezuela:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Soczewki Gliwice:s goal. The goalkeeper, Jonathan Ferrant, was totally fooled by Soczewki Gliwice's Jesus Frisco, who 39 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 45 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomasz Sobania. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomasz Sobania kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 4-0 in the 46 minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomasz Sobania went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. After 61 minutes, Patricio Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Soczewki Gliwice players grew even worse after the yellow card. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomasz Sobania in the 67th minute of play. Soczewki Gliwice made a substitution. Cyprian Bykowski replaced Kayhan Canfeda. Soczewki Gliwice's Bogumil Babicki was substituted for Kacem von Felten. Soczewki Gliwice made a substitution. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomasz Sobania in the 82nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84thth minute of the game Tomasz Sobania who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomasz Sobania in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. In the 89th minute, Cyprian Bykowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Damazy Kensicki made a huge save. Jesus Frisco hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
