After 13 minutes of play, Colombia's Pascual Carballar made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cornel Luncaniță was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Munio in the 18th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Zhuang Jian Yi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Christoffer Josefsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Segelbut IF U21's players had a chance to rest. Cornel Luncaniță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 42 minutes, Christoffer Josefsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Segelbut IF U21 and the Colombia players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 42 played minutes Segelbut IF U21 got a freekick which was hit by Christoffer Josefsson. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alf Ekelund was the one to do the kick off. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cornel Luncaniță showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 52nd minute of the match. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cornel Luncaniță. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Segelbut IF U21's Cornel Luncaniță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 59th minute of play. Colombia's Axel Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfons Öberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Cornel Luncaniță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Segelbut IF U21's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Cornel Luncaniță reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Pedro Manzanares successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 72 minutes into the game, Axel Montenegro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Cornel Luncaniță was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Cornel Luncaniță stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abram Secada's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Segelbut IF U21's Cornel Luncaniță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Secada in the 85th minute of play forced Segelbut IF U21's goalkeeper Cornel Luncaniță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Segelbut IF U21's Younis Abo Al Hasan got a free kick in the 86th minute. Ignacio Mastache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Abram Secada made a precise shot to the right of Cornel Luncaniță. Segelbut IF U21's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Segelbut IF U21's Cornel Luncaniță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute Colombia were awarded a corner. Kevin Mastache went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Santino Seco almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Segelbut IF U21's Cornel Luncaniță did a great save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Colombia had won after a very even match.
