Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

After 66 minutes the xeneise dream team's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Axel Montenegro who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Axel Montenegro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but the xeneise dream team's Vinicio Aires did a great save. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Habil Castolo in the 73rd minute of play. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Antonio Indiano kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Genaro Farias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Genaro Farias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ignacio Mastache could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Vinicio Aires made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Mastache in the 95th minute of play forced the xeneise dream team's goalkeeper Vinicio Aires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute of the match Colombia got a corner. the xeneise dream team's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kevin Mastache ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see the xeneise dream team lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
