In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Bolltrillarnas BK's goalkeeper 鲁德希, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Bolltrillarnas BK's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but 鲁德希 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 25th minute of play forced Bolltrillarnas BK's goalkeeper 鲁德希 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bolltrillarnas BK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 42 minutes into the match, Bolltrillarnas BK's Reine Dahlgren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bolltrillarnas BK's Simon Sjödin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alex Chicote, made in the 44th minute of the game. After the first half Venezuela were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reine Dahlgren to make the kick off. Alex Chicote charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Chicote the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Salvador Gisbert hit a great ball. The throw-in from Salvador Gisbert in the 59th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Bolltrillarnas BK's Simon Sjödin. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reine Dahlgren during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bolltrillarnas BK's Reine Dahlgren got a free kick in the 64th minute. Bolltrillarnas BK's Simon Sjödin managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Salvador Gisbert in the 65 minute of the game. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
