The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Avery Novak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mariano Lacasa scored 0-3 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rosendo Oinatz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, Fábio Silva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal and Fábio Silva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vitória StrikerS™ made a substitution. Cláudio Lisboa replaced Erlingur Haaland. Mariano Lacasa in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rosendo Oinatz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 70 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Carballar. Rosendo Oinatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 75th minute of play. Vitória StrikerS™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chile the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 84th minute of the game. One of Vitória StrikerS™:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chile:s goal. The Chile fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Chile's Mariano Lacasa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Chile's Pedro Indiano got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the match was over Chile could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Vitória StrikerS™ throughout the match.
