After a rather tough play, Penny lane F.C's Gustaw Czerny got a free kick in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Penny lane F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Jaroslaw Bako reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaroslaw Bako saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnoldo Cebo hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Samuel Jonsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Penny lane F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valentin Lain got free with Julio Vera in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Penny lane F.C's Jaroslaw Bako played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 39th minute of play. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 41st minute. The corner led to Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Valentin Lain sent off a good shot on target. In the 44th match minute, Penny lane F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Otamendi to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jaroslaw Bako. Penny lane F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Jaroslaw Bako tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daníel Pasarell, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 59th minute of the match Gustaw Czerny sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera skillfully saved the ball. In the 60th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montes to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jaroslaw Bako. That made the score 1-2 in the 65 minute of play. Valentin Lain took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 72nd match minute, Penny lane F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daníel Pasarell to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Jaroslaw Bako made a huge save. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Penny lane F.C's goalkeeper Jaroslaw Bako, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Jonsson came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 82 played minutes Ecuador's Daniel Zorita stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Jaroslaw Bako stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Penny lane F.C of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
