Crni Tigrovi's Nebojša Jerić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 27th minute of play forced Crni Tigrovi's goalkeeper Nebojša Jerić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nebojša Jerić was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Pawel Harendarski kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Nebojša Jerić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 70th minute. Nebojša Jerić was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Daniel Zorita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Zorita really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. In the 75th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Nebojša Jerić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Crni Tigrovi's Nebojša Jerić proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Crni Tigrovi from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Montenegro during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 94 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
