Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Francisco Seco took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 played minutes Ciprian Caba rounded Uruguay's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. The supporters of AC Ony booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Franco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven-Erik Hermansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaime Cazalla charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaime Cazalla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 12 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Cazalla. Sven-Erik Hermansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Erik Hermansson got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sven-Erik Hermansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. Francisco Seco kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Joaquin Gayoso made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Sven-Erik Hermansson sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Franco to maneuver through the defense. AC Ony's Cisco Rubial played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 36th minute of play. If Ciprian Caba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 47 minutes, Camilo Covarrubias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Uruguay and the AC Ony players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sorin Romaşcanu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

The wind increased when Sven-Erik Hermansson made the kick off in the second half. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Erik Hermansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven-Erik Hermansson's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. After 58 minutes of play, AC Ony's Sven-Erik Hermansson made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 64 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Covarrubias. AC Ony's Pompiliu Traian was substituted for Cristian Banciu. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Camilo Covarrubias hit a great ball. In the 66th minute of the match Sorin Romaşcanu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joaquin Gayoso skillfully saved the ball. 76 minutes into the match, AC Ony's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Cisco Rubial reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Cisco Rubial in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 78 minutes into the game, Pompiliu Traian was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Ony's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uruguay the free kick. Pompiliu Traian kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Ciprian Caba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cisco Rubial made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 91st minute of play. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciprian Caba, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Uruguay's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
