In the 5th minute, Francisco Barreto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Mira Colas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 叶军勇 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 14th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. 叶军勇 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erol Santika in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. In the 21st minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 叶军勇 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Erol Santika who took care of the corner kick. 叶军勇 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 27th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of ФК СПАРТАК 1918 ВАРНА's 叶军勇. 叶军勇 was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. 叶军勇 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in ФК СПАРТАК 1918 ВАРНА's zone, Felix Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 叶军勇 came out of the goal and Felix Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mira Colas. Mira Colas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Francisco Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st match minute, ФК СПАРТАК 1918 ВАРНА was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerzy Wyrobek to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Erol Santika was slow to take the kick. During this time ФК СПАРТАК 1918 ВАРНА's players had a chance to rest. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 叶军勇 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Barreto in the 74th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 叶军勇 made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. ФК СПАРТАК 1918 ВАРНА's 叶军勇 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save ФК СПАРТАК 1918 ВАРНА from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind ФК СПАРТАК 1918 ВАРНА's goalkeeper 叶军勇, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ecuador's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
