The supporters of Mexico booed when FC Medicover was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. 陆默云 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Antoni Fujara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Medicover's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moez Bejaoui in the 20th minute of the match. Antoni Fujara came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 25th minute, Ivan Lopez made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 29th minute of play forced FC Medicover's goalkeeper Antoni Fujara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after FC Medicover's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Antoni Fujara quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some careless play in the FC Medicover defense, Lautaro Mancebo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antoni Fujara. The FC Medicover fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antoni Fujara should have stopped the shot. 38 minutes into the match, FC Medicover's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Antoni Fujara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antoni Fujara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 38th minute of play. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Bernard Cempa fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Medicover's protests and gave Bernard Cempa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th minute, Bernard Cempa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to FC Medicover getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Gianluca Pierdomenico hit a great ball. After 49 played minutes, Mexico's Joel Gaona shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Antoni Fujara came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mexico reached it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Moez Bejaoui was the one to do the kick off. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Moez Bejaoui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Alberto Tafalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antoni Fujara was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Lopez in the 72nd minute of the match. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Lopez in the 75th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Anselmo Piccone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Medicover made a substitution. Jaroslaw Wodaszak replaced Bernard Cempa. Anselmo Piccone kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michal Ochylski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was a well-played corner which Luca Zorita managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michal Ochylski, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Mexico's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
