After 5 played minutes Flodde CFC got a freekick which was hit by Ture Sandström. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Víktor Muli in the 10th minute of the match. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. When Víktor Muli came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Flodde CFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Víktor Muli couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Flodde CFC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ture Sandström hit a great ball. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Börje Holmgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 19th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Stefan Nyström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Stefan Nyström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute, Flodde CFC's Anthon Nordin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After 30 played minutes Anthon Nordin rounded Venezuela's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. Stig-Ove Britz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anthon Nordin got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. 46 minutes in the game Ture Sandström did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Anthon Nordin.
The supporters of Venezuela booed when Flodde CFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthon Nordin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomas Illescas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Börje Holmgren. That made the score 2-2 in the 51 minute of play. Stig-Ove Britz charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stig-Ove Britz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Flodde CFC's Stig-Ove Britz got a free kick in the 54th minute. Börje Holmgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Víktor Muli in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthon Nordin in the 65th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Stevie Méthot had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stevie Méthot was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Börje Holmgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 75th minute. Víktor Muli struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flodde CFC. Flodde CFC's Stig-Ove Britz got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Patricio Costa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 86 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Börje Holmgren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tomas Illescas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Börje Holmgren when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
