When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Eduardo Fontirroig took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ahmet Orhan Usal to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, .......'s Ahmet Orhan Usal got control of the ball when Mario Fernandino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zafer Erokay in the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes in the game Recai Ersayın did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Murathan Olgunsoy. Camilo Freixa came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by .......'s Abdurrahim Şahinoğlu. But to his dismay, Abdurrahim Şahinoğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 34th minute Eduardo Fontirroig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Orhan Usal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Chicote sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. .......'s Ahmet Orhan Usal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Chicote in the 41st minute of play. Alfredo Ferrant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Ahmet Orhan Usal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mario Fernandino was the one to do the kick off. Eduardo Fontirroig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raşit Kanat kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Julio Chicote hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the game, Zafer Erokay cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3.
