He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mexico reached it. Beyaz Zenciler's Rafal Labus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Beyaz Zenciler's Rüstem Yıldıray got a free kick in the 18th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mustafa Hakan Özçelik during the 21st minute. In the 42nd minute, Beyaz Zenciler's Rüstem Yıldıray seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rüstem Yıldıray the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Beyaz Zenciler protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rüstem Yıldıray had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Beyaz Zenciler getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Rüstem Yıldıray hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Beyaz Zenciler's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafal Labus came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafal Labus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 51st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Beyaz Zenciler's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Rafal Labus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Rüştü Cangiray ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. In the 66th minute, Alberto Tafalla made a precise shot to the right of Rafal Labus. Beyaz Zenciler's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. 69 minutes into the match, Beyaz Zenciler's goalkeeper Rafal Labus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. Rafal Labus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 71st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Alberto Tafalla slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rafal Labus. That made the score 1-6 after 76 minutes of play. Beyaz Zenciler made a substitution. Andrey Shevchenko replaced Semi Merdan. After a rather tough play, Beyaz Zenciler's Rüştü Cangiray got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute of the match Joel Gaona sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafal Labus skillfully saved the ball. After 89 minutes Beyaz Zenciler's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. In the 93rd minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rafal Labus in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 96th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Rafal Labus despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
