In the 21st match minute, Blue Mountain Goats was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Börge Karlsson to maneuver through the defense. If Moises Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Börge Karlsson in the 45th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmundo Espiga to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Honduras booed when Blue Mountain Goats was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vincent Andersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gunnar Björkqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Blue Mountain Goats's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Bo Rosen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Evert Holm came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 71 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Luca Espinar. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evert Holm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Honduras booed when Blue Mountain Goats was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Börge Karlsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Moises Tafalla in the 76th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Bo Rosen kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-2 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Gunnar Björkqvist hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evert Holm in the 82nd minute of play. If Börge Karlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luca Espinar kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 91st minute of the match Evert Holm sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lautaro Navarro skillfully saved the ball.
