Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Hans Lilleeng made the kick off and thus started the match. When Moises Fernandino came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the El Salvador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Fernandino couldn't finish the play. 8 minutes into the game, Kovlands IF's Dag Anderssen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Zorita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 20 played minutes Kovlands IF got a freekick which was hit by Torvald Lundby. Moises Fernandino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. John-Einar Astrup kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Mateo Leguizamo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 27 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Abram Luque. If Mateo Leguizamo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dag Anderssen in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kovlands IF's goalkeeper Leonard Gregersen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Moises Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Espen Husøy's late challenge caught a El Salvador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Espen Husøy helped the player get up and apologised. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dag Anderssen, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After having played for 47 minutes, Leon Jenssen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kovlands IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leon Jenssen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moises Fernandino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ricardo Zorita was a little too slow when Dag Anderssen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 0-3. After 56 played minutes Kovlands IF got a freekick which was hit by Martin Minge. Anton Wetteland made in the 60th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Dag Anderssen however managed to control. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save El Salvador from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hans Lilleeng got free with Ricardo Zorita in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 68 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hans Lilleeng. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valentino Ferrant during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Valentino Ferrant hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Hans Lilleeng blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardo Zorita having to make a save. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Jesus Carvallo got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After 73 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Moises Fernandino. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Leon Jenssen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kovlands IF's Leon Jenssen got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, John-Einar Astrup hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, El Salvador's Mateo Leguizamo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Kovlands IF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
