Mira Colas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Axel Tasis made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Juan Rubio got a free kick in the 56th minute. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mira Colas in the 57th minute. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Mira Colas managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 95th minute, Costa Rica's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mira Colas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.
