In the 43rd minute, Nic Adams ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Gayoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 47th minute, Nic Adams got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Nic Adams might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquin Gayoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nic Adams ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Fox Hunting Squad's Emanuel Grammet got control of the ball when Maximiliano Escribano tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 53rd match minute, Fox Hunting Squad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jozef Gielis to maneuver through the defense. The throw-in from Karel Dheedene in the 76th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert. Emanuel Grammet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute Nic Adams shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camilo Franco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Emanuel Grammet made a huge save. Louis Van Campenhout made in the 87th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Nic Adams immediately put the ball in play. Francisco Seco struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Emanuel Grammet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. Fox Hunting Squad's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
