An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 34th minute of play forced Fox Hunting Squad's goalkeeper Emanuel Grammet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Fox Hunting Squad's Louis Van Campenhout dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Fox Hunting Squad's Emanuel Grammet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 39th minute of play. If Kasper De Cat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Louis Van Campenhout got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nic Adams to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Jozef Gielis made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla.
