Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Isaias Matas got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Peru's zone, Isaias Matas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal and Isaias Matas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Isaias Matas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emmanuel Reyes got a throw-in 23 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Milagros Fraga. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Michel Hendrickx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michel Hendrickx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 26th minute of play. Isaias Matas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. Isaias Matas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rolando Noboa came out and tried to block the shot, but Isaias Matas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 38th minute. A collision led to Olavarria FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Arthur Eekhout hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With a little luck, Olavarria FC's Michel Hendrickx got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Isaias Matas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. In the 61st minute Robby Van Steen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Isaias Matas came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Olavarria FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaias Matas couldn't finish the play. 66 minutes into the game, Olavarria FC's Ervigio Ojeda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolando Noboa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Julian Murillo in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Michel Hendrickx, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ervigio Ojeda in the 71st minute of play. After having played for 73 minutes, Milagros Fraga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Milagros Fraga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Peru's Milagros Fraga got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. With an all-out effort, Peru's Michel Hendrickx threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rafael Gallo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 86th minute of the game Emmanuel Reyes made a throw-in which Milagros Fraga played forward. Rafael Gallo scored 2-1 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Michel Hendrickx, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Michel Hendrickx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Gallo in the 92nd minute of the match. Rafael Gallo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michel Hendrickx read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Olavarria FC had won after a very even match.
