The supporters of Mexico booed when JubiladosPlayasdeMalagaFS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vincente Iraegui didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 16 minutes, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 18 minutes into the match, JubiladosPlayasdeMalagaFS's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Tino Casal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 0-1 became the score in the 19th minute when Alberto Tafalla elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Tino Casal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 25th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tino Casal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tino Casal quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of Mexico:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of JubiladosPlayasdeMalagaFS:s goal. When the match had been going on for 32 minutes, JubiladosPlayasdeMalagaFS's Vincente Iraegui got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Dante Lacasa. In the 35th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tino Casal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39thth minute of the game Alejandro Folch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 40 minutes into the match, JubiladosPlayasdeMalagaFS's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Tino Casal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Jolan Leost hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. Tino Casal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 55th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Rouco to maneuver through the defense. JubiladosPlayasdeMalagaFS's Tino Casal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 58th minute of play.
