Almir Travassos succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 47th playminute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baiona Encinas made a kick off. Mo Shi Fei's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mo Shi Fei helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to ReAl Coholicos getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Mo Shi Fei hit a great ball. After having played for 61 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baiona Encinas in the 69th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ReAl Coholicos made a substitution. Daniel Baldovino replaced Almir Travassos. 74 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Allan Saraiva. Tomas Illescas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute.
