Gustaf Skräddare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gustaf Skräddare was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Gustaf Skräddare stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 20th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Luis Andino heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Gustaf Skräddare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. La vecchia signora's Gustaf Skräddare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute of play. Juan Sebastián Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Albin Wallman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in La vecchia signora's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustaf Skräddare came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 39th minute of play forced La vecchia signora's goalkeeper Gustaf Skräddare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Dominguez Codony put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Ecuador were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dominguez Codony to make the kick off. Gustaf Skräddare made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 54th match minute, La vecchia signora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernst Andberg to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Gustaf Skräddare made a huge save. 58 minutes into the match, La vecchia signora's goalkeeper Gustaf Skräddare had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. La vecchia signora made a substitution. Han Solo replaced Eldad Te Vrede. In the 65th minute, Ernst Andberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 66th minute, which Gustaf Skräddare however easily saved by the left post. After 68 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Dominguez Codony managed to get in a good position for a shot. La vecchia signora's supporters rose to their feet, but Dominguez Codony was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernst Andberg in the 74th minute of play. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Gustaf Skräddare made a huge save. When Dominguez Codony came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the La vecchia signora fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dominguez Codony couldn't finish the play. La vecchia signora's Gustaf Skräddare proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save La vecchia signora from getting a goal against them. In the 82nd minute Dominguez Codony shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustaf Skräddare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 85th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Gustaf Skräddare in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Han Solo in the 90th minute of play. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than La vecchia signora.
