Cesário Abrantes hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the game, Agustín Saelices cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Vladimiro Matai was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 31st minute, Alfredo Curado reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 39th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. ADCR Loreto United FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Vladimiro Matai despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredo Curado. In the 45th minute, one of ADCR Loreto United FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ADCR Loreto United FC. ADCR Loreto United FC:s Vladimiro Matai showed great skill when he stopped Daniel Zorita:s penalty. In the 47th match minute, ADCR Loreto United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arthur Maia to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Vladimiro Matai made a huge save. Vladimiro Matai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 85th minute of play. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that ADCR Loreto United FC's Vladimiro Matai managed to reach the ball for a save. Sálvio Ribeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After 90 minutes, Rubim Freitas mouthed his way into the referee's book.
