After a rather tough play, DEPORTIVO SJ's Filiberto Bermudez got a free kick in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isidro Christobal. DEPORTIVO SJ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 29 minutes into the match, DEPORTIVO SJ's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Isidro Christobal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidro Christobal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 40th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filiberto Bermudez made a kick off. 56 minutes into the game, DEPORTIVO SJ's 潘林凡 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 59th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Isidro Christobal could save by the left post. In the 60th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Christobal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Christobal having to interfere. Filiberto Bermudez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 71st minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Christobal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidro Christobal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isidro Christobal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 91st minute. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Bermudez, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
