But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 14th minute, but Black Boruc got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving LEGIA Bielany hanging dry this time. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Black Boruc in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 18th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. LEGIA Bielany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 20th minute, Franciszek Dresik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. LEGIA Bielany's Black Boruc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute of the match Mexico got a corner. LEGIA Bielany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Leonardo Leoz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Black Boruc quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by LEGIA Bielany's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Alberto Tafalla managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franciszek Dresik in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Hannibal Lecter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Hannibal Lecter came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodrygo Goes got free with Dante Lacasa in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrygo Goes, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute, LEGIA Bielany's Hannibal Lecter dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Franciszek Dresik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. LEGIA Bielany's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Franciszek Dresik in the 65th minute. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hannibal Lecter in the 68th minute of the match. Black Boruc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 76th minute of play forced LEGIA Bielany's goalkeeper Black Boruc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 77th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of LEGIA Bielany's goalie and right to Alberto Tafalla. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. LEGIA Bielany's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. The supporters of LEGIA Bielany booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Luque didn't get a good kick on the ball. The LEGIA Bielany supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing LEGIA Bielany would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
