Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pantelija Bou took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anselmo Furlan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anselmo Furlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Göpsen FC's Anselmo Furlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 7th minute of play. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Furlan having to interfere. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anselmo Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute of play. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anselmo Furlan. Anselmo Furlan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Anselmo Furlan came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Pantelija Bou's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Julio Vera firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thanks to some nice moves İlmi Birsel could shoot a difficult shot in the 30th minute, which Julio Vera however easily saved by the left post. In the 32nd minute Yunus Canver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 36 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 43rd minute by Yunus Canver got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yunus Canver, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Bengt Fredriksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 53 played minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anselmo Furlan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. 60 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Yunus Canver came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anselmo Furlan made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. A nice corner shot did that Felix Montenegro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Anselmo Furlan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 62 minutes, Felix Montenegro made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Göpsen FC's Anselmo Furlan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 66th minute, Beltran De Paula hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Vahdet Canbolat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Vahdet Canbolat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anselmo Furlan. Anselmo Furlan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Anselmo Furlan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Felix Montenegro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 94 minute of play. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Göpsen FC throughout the match.
