Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 8th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Carballo to maneuver through the defense. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute of the match Freddie Ström sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz skillfully saved the ball. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. Emanuel Forssell's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Benito Sanz firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Tasis in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leif Västberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddie Ström in the 20th minute of play. Leif Västberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Puig in the 24th minute of play. Per-Olof Glanselius in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benito Sanz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Per-Olof Glanselius got free with Benito Sanz in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leif Västberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Timmy Sandwall came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Eliseo Noboa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Mathias Söderberg fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Plan B's protests and gave Mathias Söderberg a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 played minutes Plan B got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Söderberg. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Timmy Sandwall made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Lautaro Puig notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Plan B's Leif Västberg. Leif Västberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Per-Olof Glanselius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. In the 67th match minute, Plan B was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddie Ström to maneuver through the defense. Axel Tasis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 71stth minute, Leif Västberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 72 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. Eliseo Noboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leif Västberg having to interfere. In the 79th minute Timmy Sandwall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Olof Glanselius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Timmy Sandwall charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Timmy Sandwall the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 81 played minutes Plan B got a freekick which was hit by Timmy Sandwall. Timmy Sandwall struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Plan B. After 93 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Costa Rica had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
