With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Sören Gregersson tried to sneak it across the goal line. 6 minutes into the game, INIXET BK's Sören Gregersson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Kent Näver showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 21st minute of the match. After 23 minutes, Sören Gregersson made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 28 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Peder Alström came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carl Kalfhage got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute of the match INIXET BK got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tom Lövgren ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Sören Gregersson took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, INIXET BK's Sören Gregersson got a free kick in the 35th minute. Pål Svanberg charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pål Svanberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th minute, Pål Svanberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 42 played minutes INIXET BK got a freekick which was hit by Kjell-Arne Fredriksson. Rigoberto Mina's late challenge caught a INIXET BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rigoberto Mina helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The INIXET BK fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when INIXET BK's Peder Alström looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sören Gregersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pål Svanberg kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peder Alström in the 64th minute of play. In the 68thth minute of the game Peder Alström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carl Kalfhage's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oscar Hääger in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peder Alström's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. After a rather tough play, INIXET BK's Kjell-Arne Fredriksson got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 89th minute Peder Alström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 91 minutes, Peder Alström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INIXET BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peder Alström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. INIXET BK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
