All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isaias Matas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Murilo Barros Rosa in the 51st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Olavarria FC's Mauro Kotlar. Michel Hendrickx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diogo Paim Macedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Michel Hendrickx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Paz Rocha in the 56th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the game, Brazil's Diogo Paim Macedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Michel Hendrickx made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Olavarria FC's Ervigio Ojeda was substituted for Isaias Matas. After taking down the ball on Brazil's corner Murilo Barros Rosa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Michel Hendrickx quite easily take care of the ball. But to his dismay, Ervigio Ojeda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Olavarria FC's Michel Hendrickx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renato Pedroso Kimura in the 82nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Renato Pedroso Kimura in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michel Hendrickx prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 91 played minutes Olavarria FC got a freekick which was hit by Arthur Eekhout. After a defensive mix-up in Brazil's zone, Catalino Rivarola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Heitor Paim Belluci came out of the goal and Catalino Rivarola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
