Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) When Pasion Tatengue's Feliberto Iraitz in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. If Santiago Luken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 6th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig Wästerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Pasion Tatengue's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Stig Wästerberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 14th minute. When Clay Regazzoni came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Pasion Tatengue fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clay Regazzoni couldn't finish the play. Hadiman Effendy's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hadiman Effendy helped the player get up and apologised. After 19 played minutes Pasion Tatengue got a freekick which was hit by Hadiman Effendy. 23 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Feliberto Iraitz. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Pasion Tatengue's Santiago Luken. But to his dismay, Santiago Luken quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The Pasion Tatengue fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Pasion Tatengue's Feliberto Iraitz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A hard shot 40 in the game by Feliberto Iraitz from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. Lisandro Millan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Stig Wästerberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Tomas Illescas slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 61st minute. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute, Feliberto Iraitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Stig Wästerberg made a huge save. In the 73rd minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stig Wästerberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Luken in the 82nd minute of play. Jose Correa's late challenge caught a Pasion Tatengue's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Correa helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Feliberto Iraitz in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. When Pasion Tatengue's Feliberto Iraitz in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Pasion Tatengue's Feliberto Iraitz got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Feliberto Iraitz in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Pasion Tatengue booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliberto Iraitz in the 98th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pasion Tatengue.
