The supporters of Colombia booed when Gondor FC™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nerkez Arriagada didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Santino Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colombia's supporters rose to their feet, but Santino Seco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Muamer Fahrić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd match minute, Gondor FC™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nerkez Arriagada to maneuver through the defense. Gondor FC™'s Muamer Fahrić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 25th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adalberto Ecija to make the kick off.
