When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Isidoro Sarmiento put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Wiliam Simão. Marcos Cotilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juan Aleso went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Wiliam Simão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silas de Brito in the 17th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Aleso in the 26th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Aleso got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Aleso in the 38th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Silas de Brito dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Wiliam Simão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juan Aleso to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Juan Aleso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Aleso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Tomas Berganza made in the 54th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Juan Aleso. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silas de Brito in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Cambeiro in the 58th minute of play forced Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Wiliam Simão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute, Aaron Barrios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 60 minutes, Artur de Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artur de Andrade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 62 minutes into the game, Silas de Brito cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 69th minute, Abraham Alguacil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ made a substitution. Jailson Domingues replaced Artur de Andrade. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ made a substitution. Anıl Şahan replaced Silas de Brito. 73 minutes into the game, Jose Carita threw the ball into play from the sideline. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Wambasther van Dijk quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Isidoro Sarmiento hit a great ball. Isidoro Sarmiento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Oier Lopez de Toro was substituted for Tiago Vidal. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oier Lopez de Toro in the 84th minute of play. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Anıl Şahan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anıl Şahan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Oier Lopez de Toro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Panama for a fine match.
