Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Sidnei Branco made the kick off and thus started the match. 5 minutes into the game, Percival Magalhães cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ricardo Zorita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Moises Fernandino took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulão Corrêa. Paulão Corrêa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. El Salvador's Moises Fernandino got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Percival Magalhães got free with Ricardo Zorita in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 22 minutes, Oséas Capixaba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lakers FC and the El Salvador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 22 played minutes Lakers FC got a freekick which was hit by Oséas Capixaba. Percival Magalhães could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Ricardo Zorita made a huge save. 24 minutes into the match, Percival Magalhães notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 27 minutes into the game, Nilmar de Senna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lakers FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Salvador the free kick. Mateo Leguizamo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lakers FC's Paulão Corrêa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Fernandino in the 29th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Lakers FC's zone, Abram Luque stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulão Corrêa came out of the goal and Abram Luque tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 35 minutes, Moises Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Salvador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Fernandino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeu Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save El Salvador from getting a goal against them. Sidnei Branco struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Ricardo Zorita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lakers FC. Romeu Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Marco Tamayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Moises Fernandino was the one to do the kick off. Moises Fernandino in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Paulão Corrêa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Mateo Leguizamo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th match minute, Lakers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Álvaro Paiva to maneuver through the defense. Paulão Corrêa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Tamayo in the 57th minute. Moises Fernandino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Romeu Barbosa struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. After 73 minutes of play, Lakers FC's Oséas Capixaba made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Zorita was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Lakers FC's Sidnei Branco got a free kick in the 76th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Romeu Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lakers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Romeu Barbosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Zorita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Lakers FC booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Fernandino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute Sidnei Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
