Spencer Holder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. João Rodrigo hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 6 minutes into the match, S.D. Bajen's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Spencer Holder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Spencer Holder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 8th minute of play forced S.D. Bajen's goalkeeper Spencer Holder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Spencer Holder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 13th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Spencer Holder. S.D. Bajen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, João Rodrigo took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Julio Vera to make any attempt to save it. Spencer Holder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Sebastián Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 31st minute of play forced S.D. Bajen's goalkeeper Spencer Holder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Spencer Holder made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Spencer Holder came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-4.

S.D. Bajen's Spencer Holder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 54th minute of play. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Spencer Holder made a huge save. When Luis Andino came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. S.D. Bajen made a substitution. Korey Benedict replaced João Rodrigo. Luis Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lincoln Hand, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Spencer Holder made a huge save. Ecuador played a much better game than S.D. Bajen and deserved their victory. The S.D. Bajen players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
