Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alípio Rego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Alípio Rego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 20th minute of play forced Bembenfica's goalkeeper Alípio Rego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alípio Rego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bembenfica's goalkeeper Alípio Rego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Montenegro in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alípio Rego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Qu Ting Ming had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alípio Rego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 40 minutes Bembenfica's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bembenfica's Alípio Rego did a great save. Agustín Saelices kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Bembenfica's Dario Orlan. But to his dismay, Dario Orlan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dario Orlan to strike the kick off in the second half. Alípio Rego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 54th minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Terrasi in the 58th minute of play. After 61 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Alípio Rego made a huge save. Alípio Rego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 71st minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitor Roque in the 74th minute of play. A hard shot 77 in the game by Daniel Zorita from a close distance when the talented Alípio Rego managed to make a qualified save. Bembenfica's players were relieved. Felix Montenegro took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alípio Rego. Alípio Rego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alípio Rego having to interfere. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th match minute, Bembenfica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Quesada to maneuver through the defense.
