Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Damian Stonehouse got the match started through his kick off. Fabien Barthez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Fabien Barthez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on Uruguay's corner Jaime Cazalla fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fabien Barthez quite easily take care of the ball. Damian Stonehouse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Egg Chasers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Fabien Barthez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kevin Carballal kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After having played for 28 minutes, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Seco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Peter Crouch could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. Egg Chasers FC were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Uruguay's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rex Wall took the corner. Egg Chasers FC's Rex Wall was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Joaquin Gayoso in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 35 minutes into the match, Egg Chasers FC's Rex Wall broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Egg Chasers FC's Peter Crouch slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joaquin Gayoso. That made the score 1-1 after 38 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 40th minute of play forced Egg Chasers FC's goalkeeper Fabien Barthez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Stonehouse in the 42nd minute of the match. If Maximiliano Escribano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Seco made a kick off. In the 56th minute Egg Chasers FC were awarded a corner. Rex Wall went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Rex Wall got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Joaquin Gayoso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The corner led Egg Chasers FC's Rex Wall to fire away a dangerous shot which Joaquin Gayoso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience was convinced that Peter Crouch's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. 64 minutes into the match, Egg Chasers FC's goalkeeper Fabien Barthez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximiliano Escribano. After having played for 66 minutes, Maximiliano Escribano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximiliano Escribano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Crouch in the 68th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute Damian Stonehouse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peter Crouch's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. The supporters of Egg Chasers FC booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Egg Chasers FC's Damian Stonehouse got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peter Crouch in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peter Crouch in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Egg Chasers FC's Peter Crouch. But to his dismay, Peter Crouch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Fabien Barthez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 85th minute. 3-1 became the score in the 89th minute when Damian Stonehouse elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by Alex Barone in the 96th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Seco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabien Barthez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Egg Chasers FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Uruguay had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
