The Cosa nostra Lyon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. A sloppy throw-in by Mehmet Çağrı Hadi in the 59th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. After 61 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clem Fath was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julian Murillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clem Fath. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julian Murillo ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 66th minute of play forced Cosa nostra Lyon's goalkeeper Clem Fath to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Erwann Patrice had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Willy Hautefeuille fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cosa nostra Lyon's protests and gave Willy Hautefeuille a yellow card for diving instead.
