The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Kai-Uwe Bartek in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 27 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomé Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the match, BiBa's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Kai-Uwe Bartek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute Tomé Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kai-Uwe Bartek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 37th minute of the match. BiBa's Kai-Uwe Bartek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save BiBa from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, Peru's Kai-Uwe Bartek threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Julian Murillo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julian Murillo to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, BiBa's Yanick Wils got a free kick in the 51st minute. Yanick Wils made in the 57th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Michael Kohn immediately put the ball in play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 63rd minute of play forced BiBa's goalkeeper Kai-Uwe Bartek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute of the match Peru got a corner. BiBa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thomas Unterberger kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. BiBa's Densill 李天剑 was substituted for Tomé Azevedo. When Milagros Fraga came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milagros Fraga couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Eliseo Mina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Mina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kai-Uwe Bartek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Antonio Tenorio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Kai-Uwe Bartek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to BiBa getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Andre Seemayer hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the match, Flemming Joanesarson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Flemming Joanesarson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Milagros Fraga kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. BiBa succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Peru had controlled the match.
