Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anders Kielberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kayacan Müjdat in the 9th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kayacan Müjdat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Per-Oskar Hedberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 13th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute of the match, Monty Rogers tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Per-Oskar Hedberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anders Kielberg in the 33rd minute of the match. After 36 minutes of play, Peace Home Street Boys's Verner Wahlnäs made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Day was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 43rd minute of play forced Peace Home Street Boys's goalkeeper Per-Oskar Hedberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Monty Rogers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cassius Byrne to strike the kick off in the second half. Peace Home Street Boys's Per-Oskar Hedberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Mcdonald in the 52nd minute of play. Cassius Byrne hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Cassius Byrne blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Per-Oskar Hedberg having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Monty Rogers in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Per-Oskar Hedberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Monty Rogers in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Per-Oskar Hedberg saved Peace Home Street Boys from getting behind. If Anders Kielberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. Peace Home Street Boys's Wiktor Strömqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 76th match minute, Peace Home Street Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Verner Wahlnäs to maneuver through the defense. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. Verner Wahlnäs hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Peace Home Street Boys's Anders Kielberg got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Peace Home Street Boys booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zach Harrison didn't get a good kick on the ball. Per-Oskar Hedberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam Campbell in the 86th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Marco Baker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khalid Parry in the 93rd minute of play forced Peace Home Street Boys's goalkeeper Per-Oskar Hedberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Sam Campbell made a precise shot to the right of Per-Oskar Hedberg. Peace Home Street Boys's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The Peace Home Street Boys supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Peace Home Street Boys would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
