The crowd rose to their feet as USA's Jacob May slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mauro-Facundo Buffon. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélder Fonseca in the 14th minute of play. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florian Capasso in the 17th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Edward Mcdonald had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauro-Facundo Buffon. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Mcdonald was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon made a huge save. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcinho Sabóia in the 28th minute of the match. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Florian Capasso in the 29th minute. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Florian Capasso was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marco Day in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Florian Capasso's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Marco Day - 2-1 was put on the score board in the 29th minute. The supporters of USA booed when Merusca F&P - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anderson Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cassius Byrne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hélder Fonseca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, USA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jenson Smith to maneuver through the defense. Hélder Fonseca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Marco Day made a huge save. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Marcinho Sabóia got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. USA were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Merusca F&P - CIMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cassius Byrne took the corner. USA's Cassius Byrne was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roberto Bolt got free with Marco Day in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Merusca F&P - CIMZ defense, Monty Rogers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mauro-Facundo Buffon. The Merusca F&P - CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mauro-Facundo Buffon should have stopped the shot. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Fábio Trevisan was substituted for Florian Capasso. Merusca F&P - CIMZ made a substitution. Fumanchu Ponta replaced Marcinho Sabóia. Mauro-Facundo Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sam Campbell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Monty Rogers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro-Facundo Buffon having to interfere. After 83 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Marco Baker. With a little luck, USA's Marco Day got control of the ball when Roberto Bolt tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Roberto Bolt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Day was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Mauro-Facundo Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sam Campbell in the 88th minute of play. Mauro-Facundo Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sam Campbell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mauro-Facundo Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sam Campbell in the 90th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the game, Diego Bradley threw the ball into play from the sideline. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Fellipe Capixaba quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. Despite this Marco Day quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. USA's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
