Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis made the kick off and thus started the match. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Tiago Vidal got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Juan Aleso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anıl Şahan in the 8th minute of play. From a short distance, Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Anıl Şahan, in the 8th minute, tried to place the ball behind Benito Sanz, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juan Aleso's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Benito Sanz stood somewhat misplaced when Silas de Brito came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 16 minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juan Aleso in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 24th minute Juan Aleso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a free kick in the 25th minute. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anıl Şahan in the 27th minute of the match. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anıl Şahan in the 29th minute of play. Jailson Domingues hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Aleso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 5-0 became the score in the 40th minute when Juan Aleso elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anıl Şahan, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Juan Aleso took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. 58 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Aleso came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Aleso in the 59th minute of the match. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Aleso in the 60th minute of play. Juan Rubio charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juan Rubio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience held their breath when Artur de Andrade in the 63rd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Benito Sanz's left hand side. Axel Tasis hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, Oier Lopez de Toro made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silas de Brito in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ made a substitution. Wambasther van Dijk replaced Artur de Andrade. In the 73rd minute, Alan Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silas de Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute Juan Aleso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Tiago Vidal put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. In the 85th minute, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Abel Carballo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Costa Rica protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Abel Carballo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Gabriel Sara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Aleso in the 93rd minute of play. Silas de Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
