Gustaf Blom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. Bruno Barrett dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Jonatan Ekgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arild IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonatan Ekgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. If Marcelo Vincente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gustaf Blom came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Arild IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaf Blom couldn't finish the play. The Arild IF fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Arild IF's Jonatan Ekgren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Bruno Barrett was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jonatan Ekgren showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 62 minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Jonatan Ekgren came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Marc Västerstrand kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bruno Barrett. That made the score 0-10 in the 76 minute of play. Bruno Barrett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 91 minutes into the match, Filip Literski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filip Literski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-12. Arild IF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
